    Begin your day with a healthy breakfast. Today you will be proceeding to Banganga to trek for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan-one of the most popular pilgrimages of India Situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. This temple is located about 12 km away from Katra; to visit this temple one has a pony or Travel by foot / Palkies from Katra. Popular Belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed. We will visit this temple either by traveling on foot or hire a pony from Katra; the Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine is located in a cave towards the top of the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu- Kashmir. There are three pindies of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi and Mata Mahasaraswati. This is believed to be the only places where these three devise are found in one temple as natural pindies. The yatra follows the path Mata Vaishnodevi took when fleeing from Bhairon. In the evening escort back to hotel, have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Katra.

The cave is a real wonder to be seen and measures nearly half a kilometer in length with a 4 feet high naturally formed Shiv-lingam at the heart of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Have Darshans of lord Shiva and back to Katra in the evening. In the evening you will be escort back to Katra, have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
